This creation was inspired by the 'IT' movie clown 'Pennywise the Dancing Clown'. I added my own twist on the character and made it more feminine by using eyeshadows and eyeliner, however kept it gory.

What did I do?

Firstly I created a base using foundation that matched my skin tone and also concealer. After this I applied powder to set it nicely, so there wasn't a dramatic shine to the face. Moving on I pick up a spool brush and brush my eyebrows to prepare them as I then draw them on once I am happy with the shape; I am going for a bold look for the eyebrows. I then insert eye contacts which are completely black with a red outline making them dark, evil and mysterious. Then I use the 'Morphe 3502 Second Nature' palette using the colour 'ORB' to cover my whole lid, after I have applied this I blend it out with a blending brush. In addition to this I use the same palette with the colour 'CHESTNUT' and apply it on the outer edge of the eye and roughly the crease, and then using thing the blending brush to blend them together. With the colour 'BRUNETTE' I apply this on the outer half of the eye and use the same blending brush to bring the colours together. Finally for the eyes I use liquid, black eyeliner and create a sharp cat eye wing causing it to look more dramatic and pretty. The black eyeliner really compliments the black eye contact. I then quickly add pencil eyeliner to the waterline of my eye, making the eye more bold and dark. Then adding mascara to extend and define the lashes. Moving on to the facial features I use black pencil eyeliner and the colour 'SPICE' from the 'Morphe 3502 Second Nature Palette' and draw out the pennywise style lines on my face; I do the same on my eyebrows. I wanted the lines to look as though they are cuts almost or scare in the face so to do this I used 'Collodion' liquid on the lines as this creates a depth in the makeup and it pulls in the skin to make it look deeper; to make it look better I added several layers of this on as the more added the deeper it goes. Then using the 'James Charles X Morphe' palette and the colour 'YOU'RE KIDDING' which is a beautiful red, I go over the lines I created on my face to make them seem more irritated and fleshy. Soon after this I grab my face paint palette using the red shade and colour in the tip of my nose to create the clown like impression, I use the same colour for the area where I am going to make it more gory which is the chin area. I wasn't too happy with the brightness of the red as I didn't think it went well with the overall look I used loose setting power to wash out the colour of the face paint, I did the same on the chin. Now that the colour is washed out I use the 'James Charles' palette and take the colour 'NO BEANS' and put it also on my nose as this made it blend nicely with the look I was going for as I thought my nose was still too light for my liking. I then applied a MAC lipstick on the colour 'RUBY WOO' a very bold red colour to the lip, as well as the 'Stay Matte' liquid lipstick in the colour 'PLUM THIS SHOW' these lipsticks are both matte and set together really nicely. However before the 'Stay Matte' lipstick dries I smudge the lipstick so it looks messy. Furthermore I use 'Ben Nye, Thick blood' and apply is all over my chin and part of my lips. I also put it in the deep lines as it give shows that the lines have recently been made as they are shiny and glossy. The face paint that I added before on the chin area gives the effect that the area where it is now fleshy is now is sore and irritated. Quickly I jump back to the 'Morphe' palette using the shade 'RICH' and applying a small amount under my eyes to define the eye even more so.

What would I change/do different?

If I were to create this look again I would definitely add more thick blood to the lines on my face as I feel as though I didn't cover enough of the lines. Another thing is possibly the amount of collodion liquid I used, I should have possibly used more to make it even deeper.
