Glam meets Gore

This look was my own creation I decided this would be a hood halloween look as it consists gore for and glamour as the fleshy wound where the face splits and the eyes to make it more appealing and glamour like.
What did I do?
Firstly I started with my natural foundation base, set it with power and added cheek contour. I then applied a dark pink shade from the 'Vivacious' pallet by 'Jolie Beauty' which is a highly pigmented pallet, to the lid of my eye. Moving on to the 'Morphe 35O2' pallet and used a pinky/browny colour and placed it on the outer edges of the lid and used a blending brush to blend it together. Finally for the eyeshadow I used the same Morphe pallet and used a dark brown and blended it out on the outer edge of the lid. In addition to this I added red glitter to the inner corners of the lid to enhance the red theme that will occur. Then to complete almost complete the eye I added a wing with liquid eyeliner as this made the look more dramatic and appealing. Once this stage was complete I moved on the the zip, so I aligned where I was going to be sticking the zip on my face and stuck it down by using liquid latex. Once this had been stuck down I used red face paint and coloured in the inside area of the zip as this was the area where blood and flesh was going to be. Furthermore I then used 'Thick Blood' by 'Ben Nye' and covered that whole area as this gave a more fleshy appearance as the more built up amount of blood made it thicker and darker, so you really got a variety depending on how much you had on; it was also shiny and wet which made it look extremely realistic.
Things I would change/do different?
One thing for certain I would change is to use spirit gum instead of liquid latex to stick down the zip as you can really see the latex coming through the material of the zip, spirit gum would be less visible. Not only this but I would stick down the whole zip as it did move from time to time and exposed my skin slightly losing the split effect I wanted.
